Traditional Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

An ancient traditional Indian system of massage where the massage is given using the hands and feet of the therapist.

It incorporates yoga stretches and postures and breathing exercises to connect the individual with the power of their own healing energies.

Especially good for increasing the body’s resistance to disease by improving the immuno-response. Improves psychological well-being and is an excellent massage for freeing latent energy in the body making the body feel light, active and energetic.

A combination of therapeutic powder and massage oil is used on the body acting as an exfoliant and skin nourisher.

The massage takes place on a cushioned futon mat on the floor. Underwear, if worn, should be loose fitting and of natural fibres.
